The generous 18-inch waist creates a big surface area for minimal swing weight at the tips and plenty of extra stability on landings. Designer Scott Bouchard shaped the tapered sidewall along the center of the board to the step-down rail. The blended soft-to-sharp sidewall profile creates lift and pop along the center of the board, with fast edges at the ends. The cupped, molded-in fins have an ultra-responsive true 12-degree radius, a design first for any Hyperlite board. Hyperlite also applied their proven center beam construction to help break up hard landings.
