Whether doing a kick flip, shov-it, or and indy off the double up, the Catalyst Wakeskate is a tech trick superstar. It contains twice the amount of glass as any other Hyperlite wakeskate, helping with control and trick initiation. But as Brian Grubb, the face of professional wakeskating, worked to design this high performance board he didn't stop with relying on board weight as the only element of control. The Catalyst also features the most pronounced concave in the Hyperlite line, giving the rider more leverage. And to further aid control, a combination EVA and Griptape top allows the feet to sink in while offering wet-surface traction near the tip and tail.
